My friend Chrispian dropped me a line telling me that Blade: The Series has been cancelled. This alone has me pretty tweaked, because the shows story line was, by far, one of the most interesting out there this season. But what really got me riled was this statement made by a Spike TV rep:
But I can tell you that New Line is going to be issuing a DVD of the entire season." No date was announced for the DVD.
Do they really believe that I'll run out and buy a DVD with 13 hours of show building up to a story that they will never finish? NBC pulled this same, lame offering when they pulled the plug on Surface, which was another favorite of mine.

If you want to sell me a DVD for an incomplete series, you'd better offer me an extra episode (2 hr minimum)that resolves the story line, tying up all loose ends. Other wise your just a tease with no finish.
